Legend: top graph of each pair is motor speed V (i.e., edot), bottom is load. Top graph is the one to pay attention to. Translate V to edot thus: V0.05 ≈ 3e-8/s. Horizontal scale is time. 5000 pts ≈ 14 hrs.
e not measurably different because of noise issue. end of run, ~ 2 hrs later. (Note vertical scale change.) Looking back over these images, I see no significant change in edot since pt. # ~11000, which was 36 hrs ago. Mean is ~V0.015, or just about 1e-8/s. Sure looks borderline; let's see how 567 works out.
e ≈ 0.0435 (signal is unfortunately noisy!) 0715 hrs 1/14/09. Not slowing down, but I think we need to pull the plug this morning and move on to 567...
e = 0.0433 1715 hrs, chugging along...
e = 0.043 Eyeball smoothed edot getting down towards V0.01 ≈ 6e-9/s
e = 0.0425 edot maybe ~2e-8/s, still faster than end of step (1b), at e = 0.0383.
e = 0.0418 Step (1c) to ~0645 hrs 1/12/09. Looks not unlike this point in step (1b). So enhanced strain is ~0.4%?
e = 0.0414 Start of step (1c), as of 2100 hrs 1/11/09.
e = 0.0393 End step (1b). edot barely 1e-8/s.
e = 0.0386
e = 0.0380
e = 0.0354 1/9/08. Start step (1b). Strain relative to end of step (1a) a little uncertain because of rejacketing.
e = 0.0279 End step (1a), ~22 hrs after start. edot has fallen to ~5e-8/s. Sample immediately proceeded to spring a leak at the start of rebound measurements. Remove, take photo at top, rejacket, restart. Time lost ~24 hrs.
e ≈ 0.025 at end Start step (1a), 1/7/09. Sharp upwards step in middle is gear reducer change, from 10:1 to 100:1. V to edot conversion factor above applies after the change here, and to all the graphs above
